Free CUNA Mutual Discovery Webinar to address CU risks & opportunities

Credit unions are invited to join CUNA Mutual Group for its Discovery Webinar focused on current risks and opportunities. On Feb. 29, from 12:15 p.m.-1:30 p.m. CUNA Mutual Group President & CEO Jeff Post will present a free session titled "Navigating Today's Risks to Capitalize on Today's Opportunities.”

While credit unions are enjoying tremendous opportunities to capitalize on an ever-growing animosity toward national banks, they are also facing market-specific and global economic risks, a changing competitive landscape, and the challenges of growing lending in today's environment. This Discovery Webinar, recorded at a recent Louisiana Credit Union League roundtable, will address these key issues and provide insights to help credit unions strategize. A live question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

Take advantage of this opportunity to investigate today's key credit union issues. To register, visit the CUNA Mutual Group website.

Diebold and CUNA Strategic Services extend relationship

In early February, CUNA Strategic Services, Inc. (CSS) and Diebold, Inc. announced an extension of their long-standing relationship as they added another service to help credit unions serve their members. The renewed agreement adds mobile banking to Diebold's suite of products that range from ATMs to security solutions.

Working together since 1984, the CSS and Diebold relationship enables credit unions to offer new technology to members. Using Diebold's MobiTransact mobile banking platform, credit union members can view balances and transactions, be alerted of transfers or low balances and transfer funds. It can also enable functionality that protects ATM debit cards by notifying users of any transactions that occur while their card is locked. Credit unions can also leverage the two-way mobile channel as a marketing tool to inform members of special offers or cross-sell appropriate products.

"Credit union members appreciate the convenience of mobile banking," said CSS Senior Vice President Wes Millar. "Diebold has a legacy of security success that supports these technologies, providing peace of mind to credit unions and their mobile banking users."

Investigate Diebold today and discover the mobile technology they have to offer your credit union. For more information about the products and services offered by Diebold, contact MnCUN Director of Business Development Vickie Ganrude by email or at (651) 288-5515.
