SPEDCO
is certified by SBA to provide long-term, fixed rate loans for
fixed assets in the state of Minnesota and western Wisconsin through
the SBA's 504 Loan Program. SBA loans involve the credit union
financing 50 percent of the total project, taking a 1st lien position;
a 40 percent loan from the SBA in a 2nd lien position, and 10
percent owner’s equity. The SBA loan carries a 20-year fixed,
below-market interest rate. The maximum SBA loan is $1.5 million
