The death of a member brings about a variety of logistical issues that a credit union must handle. This session will explore avenues for handling this sensitive issue and avoid potential liability. Telecourse participants will explore how to prepare for and deal with the death of a member. Learn what documents are needed to confirm the death, how to deal with an estate and alternatives to probate.
