During the first quarter of 2012, MnCUN worked together with the Filene Research Institute to develop a Minnesota-specific study that investigates how credit unions can attract and retain younger members. This research provides credit union recommends of practical actions that Minnesota credit unions can take to more effectively reach 18‐34 year olds. In addition to the written report, credit unions can gain insight from this research through MnCUN's Generation Y Research webinar series.
The thrid webinar focuses on how to use employees to develop and strengthen the credit union's young adult strategy. Budgets are tight everywhere, so why not use your credit union's current resources to develop a young adult strategy? Utilize your employees' talents further by engaging them in advisory panels or through innovation tournaments. In this 90 webinar, you will learn how to bring in younger members by attracting and retaining young leaders, managers and volunteers. Go home with an action plan for building a younger membership from the inside out.
