As part of the Small Business Jobs Act, Minnesota is eligible to receive $15.5 million in federal money toward state lending programs to help finance loans that small businesses need to expand and create jobs. In this seminar, Bob Isaacson, Director – Office of JOBZ and Business Financing at DEED, will tell credit unions how they can take advantage of these lending programs. He’ll also give details on Minnesota’s federally funded initiatives, including:

  • Renewing the Capital Access Program (a state business loan loss reserve fund);
  • Working with lenders to loan money to businesses;
  • Providing business loan guarantees; and
  • Seeding angel investment funds
For those who are unable to attend in person, the session will also be offered as a webcast. There is no cost to attend this seminar, but registration is required.
