A key aspect of creating awareness about Minnesota Credit Unions is ensuring our own staff and directors have a firm understanding of the credit union difference, and the ability to articulate it to members and their own circles of influence.

MnCUN is proud to offer a free training opportunity, facilitated by the National Credit Union Foundation, that will discuss why credit unions are different, and how that translates into serving your members. Topics include:

  • Brief History
  • the difference between non-profit and not for profit
  • what’s a financial cooperative and our structure
  • Differences between banks and credit unions
  • Doing well by Doing good

The same training will be offered by webinar on two different dates. We encourage credit union staff of all levels and experience to attend. This is a great opportunity for your directors as well. The webinars are free but we ask that you register. Please contact Andrea Molnau, Director of Communications, with questions.
