It's important for credit unions to know the regulatory issues, changes and guidelines that will directly affect their members in the current tax year and the year ahead. This program is designed for experienced professionals who deal with IRAs, whether face-to-face with members or behind the scenes. Topics to be covered include:

  • Amending IRA Plan Documents and Disclosure Statements
  • Tax benefits of Traditional and Roth IRAs and HSAs, now and in the future
  • Traditional and Roth IRA and HSA contribution and deduction limits for 2012 and 2013
  • Important IRA and HSA portability considerations

Participants will gain an understanding of reporting changes and be better prepared to answer the often-asked question: "Which IRA is better for me – Roth or Traditional?”

About Webinars

Pairing conferencing capabilities with web technology, this session brings informative, interactive training directly to you. During the webinar, you'll view a real-time PowerPoint presentation on your computer while listening to the audio connection via telephone.

While credit unions are encouraged to use the webinar to train multiple individuals at once, the credit union will be charged for each computer connection that uses its login code. Participants will receive login instructions and handout materials via email prior to the webinar. In addition, registrants may also receive an archive CD-ROM after the live session.
