MNAP conducts annual credit union
awareness campaign in February

The Minnesota Network Advertising Program’s (MNAP’s) annual credit union awareness campaign will kick off in mid-February. Pro-credit union billboards will run for one month, targeting all 201 state legislators who drive to the State Capitol on a daily basis. The billboards (shown above) emphasize Minnesota’s 1.5 million credit union members and voters. Billboard art will also be featured on the cover of the 2008 Credit Union Day at the Capitol books.

In addition, a statewide radio ad flight will air Feb. 13-26 on stations across Minnesota, overlapping the Feb. 20 CU Day. Radio spots promote general credit union awareness and the credit union difference. The amount of air time in each area is based on total MNAP contributions made by cities and chapters.

MNAP is a voluntarily-funded program that benefits all credit unions by promoting the uniqueness of financial cooperatives through advertising. The program strives to educate the public about the benefits of membership and the importance of financial well-being.
