Minnesota credit unions and others reveal new hires, promotions

Credit Union Times © February 29, 2016 – This past week, credit unions across the country made a number of hires, board members were appointed and a CEO was inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders. Plus, a CEO in Redding, Calif. retired after 26 years of service.

Brian Sherrick, president/CEO of the $617 million Ideal Credit Union in Woodbury, Minn.was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis’ Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council. Sherrick will serve a three-year term on the 13-member council, which acts in an advisory capacity to the Minneapolis Bank and the Board of Governors in Washington.

The $600 million LAFCU in Lansing, Mich.hired Rebekah Kilpatrick as a payroll and benefits specialist. In her new position, Kilpatrick is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records and managing employee benefits such as health care and retirement.
