Anoka Hennepin Credit Union Hosts Capacity Crowd for 52nd Annual Meeting

Anoka Hennepin Credit Union - Coon Rapids, MN (May 6, 2016) - A capacity crowd of 300 members attended Anoka Hennepin Credit Union’s 52nd Annual Meeting recently at the Bunker Hills Event Center. Members were enthralled by Judge John Tunheim’s presentation about the JFK Assassination. Judge Tunheim served as the Chairperson of the Assassination Record Review Board in the mid-1990’s and shed light on many of the conspiracy theories and interpretations of key evidence related to the JFK Assassination.
Members re-elected to the Board of Directors that evening were Alan Vokaty, Coon Rapids; Jim Gaffney, Forest Lake; and Terry Anderson, Andover. Karl Rasmussen from Circle Pines was also elected to complete a term opened up by the retirement of Barb Rothe also from Circle Pines.
The evening concluded with CEO Jeff Claussen announcing AHCU’s new SPIRIT FOUNDATION, accepting a SPIRIT FOUNDATION donation from Enterprise Car Sales and then closing the silent auction which raised over $5,000 for HOPE4YOUTH.
Anoka Hennepin Credit Union was founded in 1964 by staff members of the Anoka Hennepin School District. Membership is now open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, owns a business or is affiliated with one of 400 select employee groups in Anoka, northern Hennepin, southern Chisago and northern Washington counties.
