Anoka Hennepin Credit Union Raises $7,500 at 52nd Annual Meeting

Anoka Hennepin Credit Union - Coon Rapids, MN (May 6, 2016) - Anoka Hennepin Credit Union (AHCU) is proud to announce the silent auction at the 2016 Annual Meeting netted over $5,000 for local youth homeless shelter HOPE4YOUTH. Enterprise Car Sales also contributed a $2,500 grant to HOPE4YOUTH. Over the past three years AHCU and Enterprise have contributed nearly $20,000 to HOPE4YOUTH as part of the AHCU Annual Meeting.
Over 40 local businesses supported AHCU’s efforts by donating silent auction items. “We really are part of the community here at AHCU, neighbor helping neighbor,” stated AHCU CEO Jeff Claussen. “I know what HOPE4YOUTH means to at-risk youth in this area. I am proud of our business community friends for donating auction items and equally proud of the 300 members who attended this year’s annual meeting for generously bidding on those items. I can’t wait to see how much is raised next year.”
Anoka Hennepin Credit Union was founded in 1964 by staff members of the Anoka Hennepin School District. Membership is now open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, owns a business or is affiliated with one of 400 select employee groups in Anoka, northern Hennepin, southern Chisago and northern Washington counties. AHCU serves 17,000 members with branches in Anoka, Champlin, Circle Pines, Coon Rapids, Forest Lake and St. Francis.
