Mill City Credit Union Gives Back with $10,000 in Scholarships

Mill City Credit Union - MINNETONKA, Minn. (June 1, 2016) - Mill City Credit Union (CU) recently awarded $10,000 in scholarships to members enrolling in post-secondary education for the 2016-17 academic year.

Mill City CU is firmly dedicated to furthering the financial education of members and is proud to be able to support members seeking higher education. For members to be eligible for this year’s scholarship contest, they needed to submit an essay and/or video answering the following question: Your friend wants to find a financial institution to call their own. As a credit union member, what can you tell them that will explain the difference?”  Essays were reviewed by the Mill City CU Scholarship Committee and nine winners were announced to share the $10,000 in scholarship money.
