NorthRidge Community Credit Union Welcomes New Staff Members

NorthRidge Community Credit Union - VIRGINIA/HOYT LAKES/BIWABIK/ELY, Minn. (Monday, June 13, 2016) - NorthRidge Community Credit Union (NRCCU) continues to expand due to excellent customer service and performance. The credit union has four branches to best serve the Iron Range, all of which are successful institutions acquiring new members. To meet the growth needs of their expanding membership, NRCCU has added three more staff members; three are full time member service representatives and one is a work study student. The full time member service representatives are Allyson Wolff, Miranda Clark and Christina Huismann, and the work study student is Tia Spielman of Eveleth.
Nicholas Mathiowetz, President & CEO of NRCCU, is excited for these staffing additions.
“Allyson, Miranda and Christina all have strong customer service skills and we believe they will be tremendous assets to our team. Tia is new to the work force and I am certain that we can provide to her a strong understanding of the importance of the member and how working diligently provides the best outcomes for everyone involved,” he says.
Allyson is from Virginia and started at the Virginia office on June 1st. Miranda is from Hoyt Lakes and started at the Hoyt Lakes office on June 8th. Christina is from Gilbert and started at the Biwabik office on June 23rd. Tia started in the Virginia office on June 6th.

NorthRidge Community Credit Union was founded in 1957, and was originally called Hoyt Lakes Mine Credit Union. In 1958 the name was changed to Hoyt Lakes Taconite Credit Union (HLTCU.) In 1974, HLTCU changed to a community charter including all members of the community and changed its name to Hoyt Lakes Community Credit Union. In 1998, the Biwabik office was opened, and in 2004 the Virginia office was opened and a new name NorthRidge Community Credit Union (NRCCU) was adopted. The Ely NRCCU office was opened in 2012.
