Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union - MANKATO, Minn. (July 25, 2016) - Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union is pleased and humbled to announce that, for the second consecutive year, and 3rd time in the last four years, Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union was voted the Best Bank or Credit Union in Greater Mankato area by readers of the daily Free Press newspaper and monthly Mankato Magazine.
There are over 20 financials with offices or doing significant business in the Greater Mankato Area, which has a population of almost 100,000. MVFCU was chartered in 1934 as Mankato Teachers Credit Union, converted to a community charter in 2001, having assets of $132M, memberships of 13k and two offices, both in Mankato. MVFCU won 1st place in 2013, 2015 and narrowly missed 4 consecutive first place finishes, coming in 2nd in 2014.
