Thursday, August 4, 2016
Heartland Credit Union - INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (August 4, 2016) - On July 28th, Miracle Treat Day, Heartland offered to buy members a Blizzard® to thank them for their membership, while helping raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Over 100 Heartland members, across the United States, took advantage of the offer.
This year marked the 11th year of Miracle Treat Day, where $1 or more is donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for every Blizzard®sold at a participating DQ®store. “It was a fun way to give back to our members, while raising money for a great cause,” said Kathy Harrington, Heartland President. “This was our first year doing this and we look forward to next year and even more members taking advantage of it.”
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide care to over 10 million children each year. Some are battling cancer. Some are suffering from a traumatic injury. Others require constant care because they were born too early, or with a genetic disease. Regardless of why the kids are there, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals always have their doors open.
