Minnesota credit unions endorse Rep. Tim Walz in 1st Congressional District race

Minnesota Credit Union Network - ST. PAUL, Minn. (September 27, 2016) - The Minnesota Credit Union Network’s (MnCUN) Political Involvement Committee recently voted to endorse incumbent Tim Walz for re-election in Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District.
“Throughout his tenure in Congress, Rep. Walz has helped ensure that credit unions can continue to serve their members,” said MnCUN VP-Governmental Affairs Mara Humphrey. “Rep. Walz has advocated for credit unions not only in Congress, but also with oversight agencies to assist in relieving recent regulatory burdens which adversely impact credit unions.”
