Hermantown Federal Credit Union Employee Wins Outstanding Volunteer Award

Hermantown Federal Credit Union - HERMANTOWN, Minn. (April 26, 2017) - Hermantown Federal Credit Union employee, Grace Nelson, was awarded the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council Outstanding Volunteer Award at the Minnesota Credit Union Network Annual Conference on April 21st.
This award is given in recognition of an outstanding volunteer for individual achievement and service. Nelson actively supports and creates programs which build credit union brand awareness and strengthen member relationships. Nelson has been a part of the Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) since 2012 and is currently the council’s treasurer. She works as the Accounting Specialist for Hermantown Federal Credit Union.

About the Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC)
The FSC is a subcommittee of the Minnesota Credit Union foundation whose focus is raising money for and awarding scholarships to credit union members. The council also utilizes the information gathered in the scholarship application essays to provide valuable feedback to MN credit unions. Since 1997, the FSC has awarded over $176,000 to 315 credit union members across the State of Minnesota.
