ST. PAUL, MN (October 2, 2017) — St. Paul Federal Credit Union ($164 million in assets) recently donated dozens of whiteboards and calculators to St. Pascal Baylon Catholic School, technology that will be used in the church’s school.

St. Pascal Baylon Pastor, Father Mike Byron said, “This thoughtful donation will provide immediate benefit to our school.  We’re very appreciative of the credit union’s support”

The donation was prompted by the credit union’s volunteer board of directors, which suggested the management team identify a local school that needed assistance.  St. Paul Federal EVP Chris Petersen said: “The credit union’s support of the community extends beyond providing valuable financial products and services.  We are committed to being generous, responsible citizens, and we are pleased to offer this much needed assistance.”

St. Paul Federal Credit Union was founded in 1953 to serve the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 110.  In 2004 the credit union opened its doors to serve the entire city of St. Paul, Minnesota.  Today it has more than $164 million in assets and serves more than 11,500 members.

St. Pascal Baylon Parish was established in 1946, and its grade school opened in 1950.  Today, the school has more than 200 students in grades pre-K through 8.  For more information visit http://stpascalschool.org.
