Changes to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Website
On Wednesday April 20, 2016, the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State will be launching a new website design. As a result of the new design, some items on the website may have moved, so credit unions are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new site. For example, the new design will integrate their online filing systems with other functions of the office, such as help content, forms and fees.

Recently, at the Minnesota Credit Union Network Annual Conference, the Minnesota Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) and Minnesota Family Involvement Council (FIC) committees honored members for their outstanding service.
The Minnesota Family Involvement Council (FIC) strives to build credit union brand awareness and strengthen member relationships through their scholarship program. The scholarship program is made possible through the silent auction held in conjunction with the MnCUN Annual Conference.
Amanda Kissner of Wakota Federal Credit Union was honored with the Family Involvement Council’s Outstanding Volunteer Award. Amanda joined the committee in 2012. Amanda has facilitated the FIC’s education sessions at the Annual Conference and represented the committee at the Cooperative Association’s YES Youth Leadership Conference.
Last year, Minnesota CU4Kids raised nearly $200,000 for Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, which has outreach clinics across the state. Nationally, fundraising for CU4Kids takes place in all 50 states.
This year two Credit Unions for Kids committee members received the Volunteer of the Year award for their hard work and dedication to the committee. Brianne Meszaros of Royal Credit Union and Marnie Perfetti-Galston of Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union received this honor.
Brianne and Marnie both joined the Credit Unions for Kids Committee in 2011. Brianne currently serves as the co-chair of the committee.
