Why financial literacy is important – video available

The Minnesota Credit Union Network is spreading the word: credit unions encourage savings and good healthy financial decision making by offering safe, sound, and secure financial products solutions; counseling; and consumer seminars. Recently, the Network interviewed educators, non-profit workers, policy-makers, and credit union staff about what financial literacy means to them and why they think it is important. The interviews have been compiled and made into a video for credit unions to share with current members, potential members, and legislators.
