Judges needed for CUNA marketing, biz council Diamond AwardsApplications for CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council’s 2017 Diamond Awards judging panel are officially open. The awards, which will be presented live at the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council’s 2017 Conference, recognize outstanding work in credit union marketing. “Part of what makes the Diamond Awards so meaningful to applicants is that they are voted on by experts in their field, so the judging panel we choose definitely matters,” said Amber Scott, Diamond Awards Committee Chair and vice president of marketing at 1st MidAmerica CU, Bethalto IL. “Beyond the gratification of recognizing their peers, judges enjoy a prestigious leadership role and the chance to network with fellow marketing veterans. It’s a great opportunity for anyone with experience and an eye for talent.” Jury applicants will be assessed on several criteria, including amount and type of industry experience, past judging experience and past honors received. A minimum of 5 years of marketing or business development experience is preferred. The Diamond Awards recognize 30 diverse categories of marketing achievement, including brand identity, campaigns, digital mail, electronic marketing, events and video. Winners are chosen based on five key factors: strategy, creativity, design and production, copy and communication, and results. For more information or to apply, review the 2017 Call for Judges on the CUNA Council’s website.
