- Sponsor: The “It’s a Credit Union Thing” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by Minnesota Credit Union Network (“MnCUN” or “Sponsor”), 555 N. Wabasha St., St. Paul, MN 55102. Participating credit unions may promote the Sweepstakes or display campaign materials, but they are not sponsors or administrators of the Sweepstakes and are not responsible for winner selection or prize fulfillment.
- Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 8 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on August 25, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on September 30, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
- Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor are not eligible. Sponsor may require proof of eligibility. Void where prohibited by law.
- How to Enter: There are two free methods of entry. No purchase, credit union membership, account opening, transaction, financial relationship, payment, donation, or other consideration is required to enter or win. The free alternate method of entry is intended to provide an entry method of equal dignity and availability so that participation is not conditioned on providing consideration.
- Social Media Photo Entry. During the Sweepstakes Period, an entrant may submit an original photograph showing an “It’s a Credit Union Thing” campaign placement, such as campaign content appearing on broadcast or streaming radio or podcasts, YouTube, a coffee sleeve, pizza flyer, chalk art, or another authorized campaign placement. Entrants are not required to make a purchase, visit a credit union, open or maintain an account, complete a transaction, or pay any amount to locate or submit a campaign photo. If the entry is posted publicly on social media, the entrant must include #CreditUnionThingSweepstakes clearly and conspicuously in the post. Sponsor must be able to view or receive the entry in order for it to be eligible.
Each unique, eligible campaign photo constitutes one entry. Reposting or submitting the same photo multiple times does not create additional entries. - Free Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”). To enter without locating campaign materials, taking or posting a photograph, using social media, making a purchase, becoming a credit union member, opening or maintaining an account, completing a transaction, making a donation, or providing any other consideration, email [email protected] with the subject line “Credit Union Thing Sweepstakes Entry” and include the entrant’s full name, email address, and telephone number. AMOE entries will receive the same opportunity to win as photo entries. Limit one AMOE entry per person per day during the Sweepstakes Period.
For avoidance of doubt, any stated method of entry is intended to be free to the entrant and available without consideration. If any entry method is unavailable to a potential entrant without cost or consideration, the entrant may use the AMOE instead.
All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, automated means, or other methods that undermine the integrity of the Sweepstakes are void. Sponsor may disqualify incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, altered, duplicated, or otherwise noncompliant entries.
- Social Media Photo Entry. - Social Media Disclosure Requirement: A chance to win a prize may be a material incentive for a social media post. Accordingly, entrants using the social media entry method must include #CreditUnionThingSweepstakes in a clear and conspicuous manner with the entry. Entries that omit the required disclosure may be deemed ineligible.
- Prize: One (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts regular-season game scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. CDT at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The NFL schedule is subject to change.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $500
Prize consists only of the two game tickets unless expressly stated otherwise. Transportation, lodging, parking, food, beverages, merchandise, and all other costs and expenses associated with accepting or using the prize are the winner’s sole responsibility. Tickets are subject to all terms, conditions, policies, restrictions, and venue rules applicable to the tickets and event. Sponsor is not responsible if the game is postponed, rescheduled, relocated, canceled, or otherwise modified for reasons outside Sponsor’s control. No cash substitution, transfer, or assignment is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion, and Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. - Winner Selection and Odds: On or about October 1, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries received through both entry methods, with all eligible photo entries and AMOE entries treated equally for purposes of the drawing. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
- Winner Notification and Verification: The potential winner will be contacted using the social media account, email address, telephone number, or other contact information associated with the winning entry. The potential winner must respond within three business days after Sponsor’s first notification attempt and may be required to provide proof of eligibility and execute an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability/publicity release, or other documentation reasonably requested by Sponsor.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond by the deadline, declines the prize, fails to satisfy eligibility requirements, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor may randomly select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries. - Taxes: The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and other charges arising from acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor will issue any tax reporting documentation required by applicable law.
- Entry Content and Permission to Use: By submitting a photo entry, entrant represents that the entrant owns or has the right to submit the photograph and that the submission does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party. Entrants should not submit photographs containing copyrighted material, private information, or identifiable individuals unless the entrant has the rights or permissions necessary to do so.
To the extent permitted by law, each entrant grants Sponsor a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, repost, publish, and otherwise use an eligible submitted photograph in connection with the Sweepstakes and the “It’s a Credit Union Thing” campaign, including Sponsor’s digital and social media channels, without additional compensation. - Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, city and state of residence, likeness, photograph, voice, and prize information for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes related to the Sweepstakes and “It’s a Credit Union Thing” campaign without additional compensation.
- Release and Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, participating credit unions, Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, Google LLC/YouTube, the National Football League, Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts, U.S. Bank Stadium and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, “Released Parties”) from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize.
Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. - General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion and subject to applicable law, to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, acts in a disruptive or fraudulent manner, attempts to obtain entries through improper means, or violates these Official Rules.
If fraud, technical failure, platform disruption, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, or another event beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if appropriate, select a winner from eligible entries received before the affected event.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, inaccessible, corrupted, or undelivered entries; technical or network failures; social media privacy settings that prevent Sponsor from viewing an entry; or inaccurate information caused by equipment, programming, human error, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control. - Social Media and NFL Disclaimer: This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, the Current, Curious Minnesota, Minnesota Public Radio, MyTalk 107.1, Purple Daily, the National Football League, Minnesota Vikings, or Indianapolis Colts. Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts, NFL, and related names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners. References to the teams and game are solely for purposes of identifying the prize.
- Governing Law and Disputes: Except where prohibited, the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. These Official Rules are intended to be interpreted and administered so that the Sweepstakes does not require consideration to enter or win and does not constitute unlawful gambling or an unlawful lottery under applicable Minnesota law.[DL3.1] Any dispute arising from the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action, in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Minnesota, subject to applicable law.
- Privacy: Information collected from entrants will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, contact potential winners, verify eligibility, award the prize, and as otherwise described in Sponsor’s applicable privacy practices. Entry in the Sweepstakes does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing communications unless the entrant separately provides such consent.
