MnCUN Maintains High Affiliation Rate

The primary purpose of the Minnesota Credit Union Network is to ensure the success, growth and vitality of our member credit unions. To this end, MnCUN channels the collective energy of credit unions throughout the state and works to lead the industry into the future – together.

Over the past decade, MnCUN has consistently maintained an affiliation rating of more than 85 percent. Through our core service areas, we strive to create the environment to promote credit union growth in the state of Minnesota.

“We continually strive to provide relevant and beneficial tools for Minnesota’s credit unions to best serve their members and communities,” said MnCUN President & CEO Mark Cummins. “The fact that such a high percentage of the state’s credit unions continue to choose membership is a testament to the work of our staff. I am thankful to all of the credit unions who work with us to cooperatively ensure the success of the movement.”

PolicyWorks Cybersecurity Tools Available

Managing cybersecurity and protecting your credit union and its members from cyber threats is an increasing focus for many regulatory agencies, including NCUA and CFPB. Beginning in 2017, every credit union is encouraged to complete the Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT) released by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), of which NCUA is a member.

PolicyWorks knows that cybersecurity management can seem complicated and the increasing expectations daunting. But it doesn't need to be. Whether you have an existing program in place, or you're starting from the ground level, you don't have to face this challenge alone.

PolicyWorks, a national regulatory compliance leader, and LMG Security, an international cybersecurity and digital forensics firm, have partnered to make it easier for credit unions to meet regulatory expectations.

Three levels of service allow you to select the package that best meets the needs of your credit union. For more information and to select the package that works best for you, contact PolicyWorks today.

PolicyWorks is a strategic partner of the Minnesota Credit Union Network.
