19 Credit Unions Offering WINcentive Savings®, More Than $3 Million Saved

Credit unions are continuing to see success with the state’s prize-linked savings program, WINcentive Savings. Since beginning in January of 2016, more than 4,800 Minnesotans have opened accounts at credit unions all over the state and over $3 million has been saved.

 

To date, 19 credit unions are offering WINcentive Savings. We are pleased to welcome the following new credit unions to the program this year:

 

  • Minnco Credit Union
  • Minnesota Power ECU
  • Teamsters Credit Union
  • Two Harbors Federal Credit Union
  • West Metro Schools

“WINcentive Savings really is a win-win for credit unions and their members,” said John Ferstl, Vice President of the Network Services Corporation. “By offering members a chance to win cash prizes for saving money, credit unions are strengthening ties with members and members are increasing healthy financial habits.”

 

In addition to managing WINcentive Savings, MnCUN administers the New York Credit Union Association’s (NYCUA) prize-linked savings program, Lucky Savers. MnCUN uses Minnesota Item Processing Corporation (MnIPC), its wholly-owned, for-profit subsidiary, to run proprietary software and administer the technology needs for WINcentive Savings.
