Join us for a special, expanded P2P session with an extended timeframe. Starting with a morning session, Investigator Cullen Czech, Anoka County Sheriff's Office, will share insights on vulnerable adult financial abuse, including information on the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center, training under the Senior Safe Act and member privacy issues. Marit Peterson from the Elder Justice Center will join to discuss risk factors, warning signs/red flags, and some of the dynamics older adults experience when financial exploitation is happening.
After lunch, the afternoon session will be facilitated by MnCUN's Tim Tacheny, General Counsel, and Becky Frederick, Compliance and Audit Consultant, answering common questions frequently asked by credit unions.
