Exploring Why Workshops

Exploring Why™: Connecting Purpose to Impact
The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation is pleased to offer Exploring Why™, the National Credit Union Foundation’s highly regarded experiential training designed to help employees at all levels understand and leverage the Credit Union Difference. This interactive, in-person workshop draws from the NCUF’s signature Credit Union Development Education (CUDE) Program and empowers participants to connect purpose with performance—driving greater value for both members and their organizations.

Through hands-on activities and guided discussions, participants will strengthen their understanding of why credit unions matter and how their individual roles contribute to the cooperative mission.

This program is generously sponsored by the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation and is offered at no cost to MnCUN member credit union employees and directors.

Participants will gain:
  • A deeper understanding of the structural and philosophical differences between credit unions and other financial institutions—and how those differences shape business strategy and decision-making
  • Practical tools to communicate their organization’s “why,” their personal “why,” and the value they deliver to members
  • Increased confidence and motivation to take ownership in finding innovative ways to serve members and strengthen their organization
Logistics
  • Format: In-person, interactive workshop. Program runs 9 AM - 3 PM.
  • Capacity: Limited to 50 participants to ensure meaningful engagement
  • Please note: Participants from the same organization may be placed in different groups for activities and discussions

Contact Andrea Molnau with questions.
