Three ways to Engage with the Credit Union Movement in Minnesota

The Minnesota Credit Union Network is dedicated to providing credit unions the training and resources they need to grow and thrive in today’s financial environment. Along with a full range of webinars, conferences and Peer-to-Peer meetings, professionals can engage with fellow credit union employees through the Crew Young Professionals Group, Women’s Leadership Network, and Credit Union Chapters.

Credit Union Chapters - Minnesota’s credit union chapters provide professionals and volunteers opportunities to network and connect with credit union individuals in their geographic area. With gatherings held at various times throughout the year, the chapters meet to discuss current credit union issues and trends, participate in service projects, network and socialize. The Minnesota Credit Union Network supports chapters by distributing chapter meeting notices, attending the gatherings, and speaking at chapter events. Learn More.

Crew Young Professionals Group - The Crew is a group for young professionals – under 40 years old - working in the credit union movement in Minnesota. The Minnesota Credit Union Network hosts special sessions for Crew members at major MnCUN events as well as standalone Crew education sessions, happy hours, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Minnesota Credit Union Women’s Leadership Network - The Minnesota Credit Union Women’s Leadership Network is a local chapter of the Global Women’s Leadership Network established to further Global Women’s Leadership Network’s global mission by making a local impact. The purpose is to convene Minnesota’s women credit union professionals, discuss credit union issues, exchange ideas, network with neighboring credit union leaders, and share lessons learned with Global Women’s Leadership Network members worldwide. A complete list of education and networking opportunities is available online. To receive updates for your local credit union chapter, the Crew Young Professionals Group, or the Women’s Leadership Network, update your communications preferences on MnCUN’s website.

Argos Risk and the Minnesota Credit Union Network are partnering to offer a webinar on Credit Union Success and the role of Third-Party Risk Management Webinar. The free webinar will be held Thursday, May 24 at 2 p.m.

Whether vendor management, indirect lending, or commercial lending programs, your Third-Party Risk Management program will play an increasingly crucial role in the success of your credit union.

  • Easily vet and assess the financial health of any third-party, including vendors, dealerships, and commercial customers
  • Automatically monitor and receive alerts on material events that could impact the health of a monitored third-party
  • Produce compliance and audit reports in one-click
