IMPACT 26: CU Day at the Capitol offers credit union professionals and board members the opportunity to deepen their understanding of legislative issues and engage directly with elected officials. This event is a unique platform to influence policy, advocate for the credit union movement, and make your voice heard. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Union Depot - St. Paul.
This important advocacy event forms the foundation for a positive working relationship with legislators throughout the Legislative Session. Through education sessions, legislative briefings, keynote speakers and legislative visits, IMPACT 26 brings the credit union message to elected officials.
The event will kick off with an educational program in the morning, followed by legislative visits in the afternoon after lunch. We will provide a more detailed schedule as we get closer to the event date.
With questions, contact Ryan Smith, Chief Advocacy Officer.

New Impact Day Give Back Opportunity
New Impact Day Give Back Opportunity!
Bring an item to Impact Day and Support Gillette Children’s Patients
Impact Day is about sharing the Credit Union Difference with lawmakers—demonstrating how credit unions strengthen communities and improve lives. This year, we invite you to bring that message to life in a meaningful way.
In partnership with CU4Kids, we’re adding a Community Give Back activity benefiting patients at Gillette Children’s Hospital and Clinics. While we advocate for our movement at the Capitol, we’ll also have the opportunity to make a direct impact for kids receiving care in St. Paul and around the region.
How you can help:
Our goal is to assemble 150 activity bags that will bring comfort, creativity, and a little joy to children during their time at Gillette.
Suggested Items to Donate
Together, we can show legislators that the Credit Union Difference isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we live every day through service, generosity, and community impact.
We look forward to seeing you on March 18th!
