The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation (MnCUF) provides grants and scholarships to fund opportunities for credit union professionals and volunteers to continue their education and sustain the credit union movement. MnCUF is pleased to open two scholarship opportunities for attendance at industry trainings in 2020 – CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference and the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Educator Training.

Due to the advance preparations needed for both events, the application deadline is Aug. 31 and scholarships will be awarded by Sept. 30, 2019.

GAC Scholarship – The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) is the premier national event for political impact in the credit union industry, gathering thousands of industry leaders to remind legislators and regulators why credit unions are Americans' best financial partners. MnCUF will be offering four $2,000 scholarships to assist with registration and travel expenses for the 2020 CUNA GAC February 23-27, 2020 in Washington, D.C.

CUDE Scholarship –  A program of the National Credit Union Foundation, Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) Training brings renewed relevance to the philosophy of "People Helping People." This unique and transformative training provides critical lessons in cooperative principles, credit union philosophy, and development issues, while incorporating challenges credit unions face today. MnCUF will be offering one full scholarship for the cost of the training, and the winner will be able to select their preferred date from NCUF’s options.

Complete details and scholarship applications are available on the MnCUF website. With questions contact MnCUF Executive Director Andrea Molnau by email or calling 651-288-5527.
