St. Paul Federal Credit Union - SAINT PAUL, Minn – August 8, 2019 – More than 300 residents joined the festivities when St. Paul Federal Credit Union once again hosted the local “National Night Out” celebration. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Millions of people nationwide celebrate the event. The St. Paul Police Department presented the credit union with an award recognizing 15 years of support for the popular community-building program.
“We had a record number of residents join us for this day of fun,” said President/CEO Tom Glatt. “As nice as it is to receive the recognition from the St. Paul Police Department, we feel it’s our responsibility to contribute to the well-being of the community.”
The celebration was once again held in the large parking lot for the credit union’s headquarters, which shares a facility with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 110, on Conway Street in St. Paul. The event included music, food, and activities for the kids.
St. Paul Federal Credit Union was founded in 1953 to serve the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 110. In 2004 the credit union opened its doors to serve the entire city of St. Paul, Minnesota. Today it has more than $174 million in assets and serves more than 12,000 members.
