Minnesotans are Opening Their Eyes

Midway through the first year of Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union, Minnesota is realizing impressive results. The campaign has reached over 175 million impressions statewide, combining digital and out of home marketing strategies.  


The Great Minnesota Handshake – a collaborative beer presented by Minnesota Credit Unions at the State Fair – resulted in 4.75 million impressions and $14,000 raised for financial literacy.


As we round out 2019, MnCUN will continue digital and out of home advertising efforts, will conduct state specific consumer attitudinal research, and begin 2020 Fundraising and campaign planning. 


Credit unions are encouraged to leverage the momentum. Financial contributors to the campaign have access to Open Your Eyes branded marketing materials, including OYE t-shirts - that can be used online and in branch. All credit unions have access to the Messaging Guide and can share social media content.
