Consumer Poll Offers Insight into Open Your Eyes Advertising Impact

An independent report by Frederick Polls LLC, shows early, positive impact of the Open Your Eyes advertising on consumer opinions. In June, 900 Minnesotans were interviewed regarding their opinions about credit unions. The survey found that recalled exposure to pro-Credit Union ads touting “benefits and differences of Credit Unions” is associated with positive outcomes related to advocacy; enhanced awareness of structural advantages; attribute performance; and potential wallet share gain.

The results are encouraging as the interviews occurred just four months following the campaign launch. Additional research specific to the campaign will be conducted again this fall.
