In recognition of our positive impact in Minnesota and in celebration of International Credit Union Day, Governor Tim Walz has issued a proclamation declaring Thursday, October 17, Credit Union Day in the state of Minnesota.

International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) is a chance to engage your members to raise awareness for your credit union and credit unions worldwide through ICU day activities. This year’s ‘Local Service. Global Reach.’ theme celebrates the fact that our local actions encourage higher levels of member service throughout the global credit union movement. Join us in celebrating 2019 ICU Day.

GSTV Features Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® Commercial for ICU Day

Additionally, an Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® 15 second commercial will be aired here in Minnesota, and on approximately 20 thousand GSTV stations across the country in celebration of International Credit Union Day!

This opportunity will boost the credit union Awareness Initiative’s targeted digital strategy and reach over 44 million people nationwide to help support the great credit union mission, increase awareness and engage new members.

Here in Minnesota, the week-long promotion will be shown at 845 stations and be seen by over 1,859,000 people!

We hope you have the chance to check out the commercial on a GSTV screen during the campaign. You can view the GSTV stations in our state  or an interactive map of all GSTV locations.

We encourage credit unions to share their own Credit Union Day stories using #ICUDay.
