St Paul Federal donates more than 1,000 toys and $12,500 in cash!
St. Paul Federal Credit Union - SAINT PAUL, Minn. (December 18, 2019) – For the third year in a row, St. Paul Federal Credit Union ($180 million in assets) and its sponsor, IBEW Local #110, today announced a record donation for Toys for Tots, with more than 1,000 toys collected, and a check for $12,500 to be donated. Over the past three years, donations have grown more than 100%!
“Our credit union members continue to demonstrate a generosity that overwhelms us,” said St Paul Federal CEO Thomas Glatt. “We’re proud to support this important cause, especially during the holiday season.”
In 2019 the credit union expanded its field of membership to include thousands more Minnesotans. “As our reach expands, we are committed to giving back even more to St Paul and its residents,” Glatt added.St. Paul Federal Credit Union was founded in 1953 to serve the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 110. In 2004 the credit union opened its doors to serve the entire city of St. Paul, Minnesota. Today it has more than $180 million in assets and serves more than 12,500 members.The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots (www.toysfortots.org) program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in local communities.
