Courtnee Jackson-Floback, a teacher at Richfield High School, received this year's RBCU Hero Award because of a dedication to her students that goes above and beyond her curriculum.

Many of Courtnee's teen students were feeling high levels of anxiety due to their fear of being unable to live independently after graduation. Much of their stress stemmed from a lack of financial education.

Wanting to help, but unsure of the proper lesson plan, Courtnee reached out to a credit union that has a sixty-year tradition of strong support for the schools of Richfield: RBCU.

Her initiative, as well as her dedication to providing her students with the proper educational resoruces necessary for learning key financial concepts, was instrumental in bringing about the current RBCU Financial Literacy Program.

Thank you for all you do, Courtnee!
