Two Harbors Federal Credit Union - TWO HARBORS, Minn. (July 6, 2016) – Two Harbors Federal Credit Union (THFCU) recently announced the addition of Yancy Stark to their lending team.  Stark will focus on first mortgage and consumer lending for the credit union’s 5,000 members.

Stark was born and raised in Two Harbors, graduating from Two Harbors High School in 1992.  He operated a small business in Milwaukee and worked in wholesale in Minneapolis before joining the banking industry in 2004.  Stark has over a decade of lending experience, and has expertise in real estate.

“We’re excited to welcome Yancy to the team,” said Two Harbors Federal Credit Union President/CEO Randy Willert, “Our members will benefit from his depth and breadth of knowledge, particularly his experiences in real estate and as a small business owner.”

Stark is just one of many changes THFCU is eager to share.  Earlier this year, the credit union opened a new facility on 11th Street, across from Super One Foods.  The new location boasts convenient access and a warm, inviting environment.  Last month the credit union expanded hours to meet the growing demands of their membership.

“Credit unions were founded on a philosophy of people helping people,” said Willert, “We see that as an obligation to not just serve our members extraordinarily well, but also to give back to the Two Harbors community at every opportunity.  Yancy understands that, because he’s lived it.  Two Harbors has been a big part of his life.  Serving our members allows him to give something back.”

Two Harbors Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not for profit financial cooperative serving Two Harbors and surrounding communities.  Those who live, work, attend school or worship in Lake County and portions of St. Louis County are eligible for membership.  Members are welcome to apply for any of THFCU’s many products and services, from first mortgages to auto loans, checking accounts to certificates of deposit.
