NCUA Board Proposes Delay to RBC Rule

On June 20, the NCUA Board approved (by a 2-1 vote) a proposed rule that would delay the effective date for the Risk-Based Capital Rule (Rule) until January 1, 2022.  MORE 🔒

Remembering Gene Carroll

Funeral services will be held this week for Gene Carroll, former President & CEO of Pipefitters Steamfitters Credit Union. Gene served the Minnesota credit union movement for over 40 years; including 20 years as a Network Board member. Gene retired in 2007. MORE

 
 


MnCUN Submits Comment Letter on Default Call Blocking

The Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) submitted comments on the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Declaratory Ruling to allow voice service providers to, as a default and without consumer approval, block calls assumed to be unwanted. The FCC’s proposed method could harm members in several ways. It strips members of choice and the proposed method also has a high likelihood of blocking wanted and critical communications.
