The Pulse: The political section of MnCUN’s weekly e-newsletter The Pulse keeps credit unions up-to-date on political activities and various state and federal political issues that concern credit unions.


Minnesota Legislature Bill Tracking: During Minnesota's Legislative Session, MnCUN is dedicated to being politically active. Throughout session, Network staff and credit union representatives are in constant contact with legislators to ensure that they understand credit unions’ viewpoints on the issues that impact them and their members.


2018 Legislative Session SummaryThe MnCUN Session Summary  provides information on legislation that did and did not become law during the session including a synopsis of each bill, who the bill was authored by, MnCUN's position on the legislation, the outcome, and its impact on credit unions. Links throughout the document also direct credit unions to more specifics on the pieces of legislation.

The services and benefits your members receive from your credit union are directly affected by legislators and policymakers. Let your members know where the candidates stand on credit union issues and make sure their voices are heard this election. We’ve developed an Election Toolkit to assist you in sharing the credit union difference with members, and why their participation is important this election. The toolkit includes sample social media posts, newsletter articles, and community impact statistics to share with members.

  

Remind your members to vote in the Primary Election on Tuesday August 14 and the general election on November 6.
