Register for the 7th Annual Minnesota Department of Commerce Financial Capability Roundtable
The Minnesota Department of Commerce will be holding a Financial Capability Roundtable at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 at the Minneapolis Central Library.
Financial Capability Month, celebrated in April around the state, serves the opportunity to renew commitment to financial capability and its positive impact for every Minnesotan from kindergarten to retirement. This year the Roundtable conversation will turn to the shifting demographics and economic trends shaping Minnesota's future. These demographics will determine the needs of public and private services throughout the state in the next decade.
Event registration is available online. Registration is required but it is free of charge to attend.

The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation is pleased to announce Andrea Molnau, Director of Communications for the Minnesota Credit Union Network, as its new Executive Director. In this role, Molnau will oversee foundation grant programs, financial literacy efforts, the Foundation scholarship council and the Minnesota chapter of Credit Unions for Kids.
Prior to joining MnCUN in 2015, Molnau worked as a credit union marketer for 20 years. Additionally, she was actively involved in financial literacy efforts, established and served on the Board of a credit union foundation, and served on the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council, formerly the Family Involvement Council, for 13 years.
“Credit unions in Minnesota are driven by positive community impact and improving their members’ financial lives,” said Molnau. “I am pleased at the opportunity to carry out the mission of the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation, which provides resources for credit unions to best serve their communities.”
The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation provides grants, community partnerships, professional development and disaster relief to help the state's credit unions and communities prosper and thrive.
