Early Bird Registration for Fall Leadership Conference Ending Aug. 3
The Minnesota Credit Union Network invites credit union professionals to its annual Fall Leadership Conference September 7 through 9 at Madden's Resort in Brainerd. The conference will feature a credit union industry exhibit hall, education sessions, entertainment and networking opportunities.
Breakout sessions will be available in tracks specific to Directors, Executives, and Emerging Leaders. General Session topics will include:
To take advantage of the early bird discount, registration and payment must be received by Friday, August 3. The deadline for regular priced registrations is Friday, August 24.

Credit union professionals are invited to join their peers at the Minnesota Credit Union Network’s Financial Education Peer-to-Peer (P2P) session. P2P events are discipline-specific, providing an opportunity to learn from industry experts and other credit union staff in your field.
During the event, attendees will hear about financial education resources, best practices, strategic involvement and alignment, and community engagement from Minnesota non-profit BestPrep. The P2P is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the MnCUN office in St. Paul.

For more than 10 years, the DQ system has celebrated Miracle Treat Day. Minnesota Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) is encouraging credit unions across the state to participate in the upcoming Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, Aug. 2.
On this day, $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat purchased at participating Dairy Queen stores will be donated to Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, Minnesota's Children's Miracle Network-designated hospital. Gillette, which helps kids with disabilities and chronic conditions, is based in St. Paul, with outreach clinics located around the state.
