2024 CEO Conference Recap

The annual MnCUN CEO Conference was held June 26-28 at Pier B Resort in Duluth, MN. This event featured presentations from speakers on a variety of pertinent credit union topics, provided opportunities to connect with other CEOs, and offered a cooperative forum in a relaxing setting to share expertise and experiences.

​Speakers included Cherie Freed, Regional Director, NCUA, Mike Schenk, Chief Economist, America's Credit Unions, and Aaron Brown, Author, Columnist and Instructor. The event included round tables facilitated by Dave Boden, President of Blaze CU; and an open discussion on the efforts of the State Charter working group’s Think Tank, facilitated by Aaron DeJong, CEO of Red Wing Credit Union. The attendees also participated in a visit to the Lincoln Park, hearing from Jodi Slick, CEO of Ecolibrium3, about the revitalization of the neighborhood and the collaborative efforts of those involved.
