MnCUN is pleased to welcome Amy Downs as our keynote speaker for LEAD 24 – MnCUN’s Fall Leadership Conference. Amy survived a bomb exploding in the building of the credit union where she was working, which killed 168 people, including 18 of her 33 co-workers. Today, she is President and an award-winning CEO of that same organization. Allegiance Credit Union has grown by 400% and is thriving. Drawing on her recently released book "Hope Is A Verb," Amy is excited to share how leaders can respond to a crisis in a way that will make your organization come out even stronger than before you went in. Additional general session topics will include: The War on Talent; Future Needs of the Members; and an Election Update. Breakout sessions will include a Board of Directors Hot Topic session along with our 2023/2024 Trailblazers presenting their Credit Union Case Studies. We hope you can join us at Madden’s on Gull Lake in Brainerd, September 24 - 26. LEAD 24 will focus on all things Leadership, featuring industry experts providing insight and relevant information on top credit union issues. Sessions throughout the event are designed for both credit union professionals and board members. With educational sessions and recreation opportunities, this event provides an opportunity to come together in person with your credit union colleagues for a conference of learning, networking, and fun! Registration and Sponsorship opportunities are now open. See our LEAD 24 Conference page for more information. Comments are closed.
