CFPB Final Rule On Medical Bills: On January 7, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) finalized a rule removing medical bills from credit reports that will remove an estimated $49 billion in medical bills from the credit reports of about 15 million Americans. 

​NCUA Unified Agenda: The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) released their Fall 2024 Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions with potential timelines for upcoming agency actions.
