Reminder: Register for Hike the Hill, Sept. 11 - 13

Hike the Hill provides credit union representatives with a unique opportunity to meet with federal legislators and talk about top credit union issues, face-to-face, in Washington, D.C. 

​This year, MnCUN is organizing Hike the Hill with our Tristate partners, Montana and Wisconsin. A tentative schedule of events is below; attendees should plan to arrive by early Wednesday afternoon, September 11 for events. Meetings with legislators will be scheduled throughout the day on Thursday, followed by a Minnesota group activity in the evening. Assuming availability of staff or Board members, NCUA meetings will take place Friday morning and attendees can plan to fly out by Friday afternoon.

Tentative schedule:

• Wednesday, September 11th – arrive by early afternoon
• Campaign/check presentation event in conjunction with America’s Credit Unions, the Montana Credit Union League and the Wisconsin Credit Union League – 4 PM, Capitol Hill Club
• Group outing to Nationals game with credit union attendees from 5 other states – 5:45 PM, Nationals Park, pregame drinks and food included
• Thursday – Legislative visits
• Friday – NCUA meetings
