2026 Hike the Hill, Sept. 15 - 17

Hike the Hill offers credit union representatives a unique chance to engage directly with federal legislators and discuss the pressing issues faced by Minnesota's credit unions. During these visits, credit union professionals and board members will have the opportunity to meet with the entire Minnesota Congressional Delegation, fostering meaningful conversations and advocating for their concerns.
MnCUN will once again organize our Hike in coordination with our Tristate partners, Montana and Wisconsin.

A tentative schedule is outlined below. Attendees should plan to arrive by late morning or early afternoon on Tuesday, September 15, to participate in scheduled events. Legislative meetings will take place throughout the day on Wednesday, and attendees may plan to depart on Thursday afternoon.

Tuesday, September 15th

Arrive in DC, afternoon briefings
Tristate Welcome Reception | 4:30–6:30 p.m., Arlo Hotel

Wednesday, September 16th

Meetings with House and Senate members
Capitol Dome tour (requested, no guarantees that this will happen)
Nationals Game | 6:40 PM
- Come join credit union professionals and volunteers from 7 states as the Nationals take on the Phillies. Our group will be in the Home Plate Tailgate area, where our attendees will enjoy a relaxed, causal space where we can meet and enjoy a meal before the game in a private, enclosed tailgate area. The space opens 75 minutes before the first pitch and food and drinks are included, as well as a game ticket located in Infield Box seating area – all thanks to generous sponsorship from ASI and FHLB's.
