IMPACT 24: CU Day at the Capitol, provides credit union professionals and volunteers the unique opportunity to learn about legislative issues and meet with elected officials. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Union Depot - St. Paul.
 
This important advocacy event forms the foundation for a positive working relationship with legislators throughout the Legislative Session. Through education sessions, legislative briefings, keynote speakers and legislative visits, IMPACT 24 brings the credit union message to elected officials.

General Session & Luncheon: Join all attendees to learn more about credit union legislative priorities, hear firsthand from elected officials about the legislative session and gain insights on industry updates. 
 
  • 9:00 – 9:30 am:  Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon 
  • 9:30 am- 9:45 am: Minnesota Department of Commerce Mike Crow  
  • 9:45 am – 10:45: House Commerce Committee Minority Lead Tim O’Driscoll, House Commerce Committee Chair Zack Stephenson, and Minnesota House of Representative Elliott Engen 
  • 10:45 am – 11:30 am: Larry Jacobs, Director of the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance in the Hubert H. Humphrey School and the Department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota
  • 11:30 am –12 pm - Lunch 
  • 12:00 –12:30 pm – Legislative issues briefing
