The Minnesota Credit Union Network thanks our first 10 credit union members of 2021. Membership packets were mailed to all credit unions in early December, with a deadline of Friday, Jan. 31.

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) recently announced election results for its Board of Directors Executive Committee. The newly elected directors will take office following the CUNA Annual General Meeting, which will be held virtually during the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) on March 2.
Patrick Pierce, President and CEO/President of City & County Credit Union was elected to represent District 4, Class B (Credit unions with at least 38,000 and not more than 141,000 members in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin). As a member of the CUNA Board, Pat will also serve as a Board Member of the National Credit Union Foundation. "Congratulations to Pat for his re-election to the CUNA Board,” said Mark Cummins, President and CEO of the Minnesota Credit Union Network. "I am pleased that Minnesota will continue to be represented nationally and thank Pat for his dedication to the credit union movement." Each CUNA Board member will serve a three-year term. The new CUNA Board Chairman will be announced during the 2021 CUNA GAC. The certification program, to be held this February 9, 22, 23 and 25, 2021, will be split up into seven courses with one morning session and one afternoon session each date. You do not need to be a data lover or even a math lover to leverage your data to improve the lives of your member.
