Webinar on Senior Safe Program to Protect Elderly and Vulnerable Adults: Please join us Frioday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. for a presentation featuring the Department of Commerce's collaboration with the U of M to conduct their Senior Program to protect elderly and vulnerable adults from fraud and other financial crimes. Statutory law topics will include Minnesota Statues Section 45A.06 and notice by credit unions of delayed disbursement/holding transactions of a vulnerable member's account.
Potential Changes to Regulatory Structure Update: HR 2798 has been presented to the House Financial Services Committee seeking to reform the CFPB. General Accountability Office (GAO) – High Risk Issues: The GAO completed a study relating to the regulation of federal depository institutions, “High-Risk Series Efforts Made to Achieve Progress Need to Be Maintained and Expanded to Fully Address All Areas” (GAO-23-106203).
