CU Impact Week at the Capitol Underway

CU Impact Week at the Capitol began with greetings from Minn. Gov. Tim Walz and all four House and Senate leaders, followed by a legislative briefing on important issues for 2021. Here is how you can get involved and advocate for credit unions in Saint Paul:

• Send a postcard to your legislators: Today, we are encouraging you to mail a postcard to your legislators sharing the impact of your credit union.
  • Check with your CEO or Grassroots Coordinator for CU Impact Week postcards and the resource page has sample messages and how to find you legislators mailing address.
• Email your legislators: If you are a GREAT member, watch for a GREAT alert in your email inbox tomorrow. If you are not signed up for GREAT, signing up is easy and you will join thousands of advocates in ensuring credit unions have a strong, unified voice when legislative and regulatory decisions are being made.
• Share a social media message: Through the week and during legislative session, please continue to share social media messages with the hashtags #CUImpactWeek and #mnleg.
• Record a video testimonial for the Working for Minnesota website.
