Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, local gathering restrictions/health advisories and the interactive nature of programming, the National Credit Union Foundation is canceling all 2020 in-person DE Programs. For 2020, the National Credit Union Foundation will be launching a virtual DE Training Program. Over its near-40-year history, the U.S. DE Program has proven to be incredibly resilient. It has been hosted across the country at universities, corporate conference centers, remote nature preserves, hotel conference rooms, and monasteries. Activities and experiences have always been shaped around each environment and offered unique learning opportunities. The virtual setting is simply a new venue adapting the DE experience to meet credit unions where they are now. 2020 Virtual DE Trainings Sessions will run for four weeks with live classes being held on Monday & Tuesday of each week. Graduation will be held on the last Friday of each class. Session 1: September 14 – October 9 Session 2: October 26 – November 20 Upon completion of the program, participants will earn their Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation. Learn more about what DE Training will look like in our new virtual environment. General registration for both virtual sessions will open on Wednesday, August 12 at 11:00 AM CT. Limited seating is available (seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis). If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact Maggie Wolff at [email protected].
